For the last 7 years, as a grade 5/6 teacher, I have taught all of our subjects through the topic of water. This has lead to some exciting inquiry projects, Google Hangouts, and an incredible depth of understanding. I have discovered how to truly engage and empower my students with school and community action plans. Watching students become knowledgeable, competent enviro. citizens is magical!
